Enjoying prosecco, wine and beer in Venice- we are here.
10 miles ridden and bikes ok so far, they survived the journey.
Ouch badge to Andy, who kissed the Tarmac after close encounter with a tram track. Lez, he’s fine.
Proper update tomorrow but some pics for now to whet the appetite while we eat and do some sight seeing.

Wishing you all all the very best with this challenge. Most importantly be safe and secondly enjoy! It’s a lovely country and you have a chance to see it from a super perspective. Hope you all get the chance to do some sightseeing after your exertions.
A reminder to Andy re 1976: look up the details re the lap after Rome, ie when you get to Ceprano: you will be close to Frosinone which is pretty close to where your great-grand parents are from: look up on google maps: Sora, Atina and finally Piscinisco – you can “street-view” Picinisco.
